Les artistes et les groupes professionnels provenant du monde entier se produisent durant les quatre jours du festival. Dans le cadre pittoresque d’Ascona ils proposent un programme bigarré: mime, théâtre, danse, jongleurs, acrobates, cracheurs de feu, musiciens, clowns, etc. Plus de 100 spectacles gratuits qui remplissent de gaieté la Piazza d’Ascona. À la fin de chaque spectacle les artistes tendent  leur chapeau au public généreux qui a ainsi la possibilité de les remercier avec une offrande.

During the four days of the festival individual artists as well as professional groups, coming from all over the world, present their street performances. Set within the picturesque setting of Ascona the artists offer a colourful program: pantomimes, stage plays, dance performances, jugglers, tightrope walkers, fire eaters, musicians, clowns and many others. Over a hundred of free entry performances fill the numerous small settings along the lakeside with a joyful atmosphere. At the end of every show the artists go around with a hat and the generous audience can thank them for the entertainment with a voluntary contribution.

Durante i quattro giorni del festival si esibiscono singoli artisti e gruppi professionali provenienti dalle strade di tutto il mondo. Nella cornice pittoresca di Ascona, gli artisti offrono un programma variopinto: mimico, teatro, danza, giocolieri, equilibristi, sputafuoco, musicisti, clowns e quant’altro. Cento e più spettacoli gratuiti riempiono di allegria le tante piccole scene in riva al lago. Alla fine di ogni spettacolo gli artisti porgono il loro cappello al generoso pubblico che con un offerta ha modo di ringraziare per la rappresentazione.

Während den vier Tagen des Festivals treten einzelne Artisten und professionelle Gruppen auf, die von den Strassen der ganzen Welt herkommen. In der malerischen Umgebung von Ascona, bieten die Künstler ein buntes Programm: Pantomime, Theater, Tanz, Jongleure, Akrobaten, Feuerspeier, Musiker, Clowns und vieles mehr. Über hundert kostenlose Vorstellungen erfüllen die vielen kleinen Szenen am Seeufer mit Fröhlichkeit. Am Ende jedes Auftritts reichen die Künstler ihren Hut durch das grosszügige Publikum, das sich mit einer Spende für die Darbietung bedanken kann.
